This was a perfect meal for our family. Quick to fix and great to fit what my family likes. The instructions were clear and it was like what I have fixed before except that I learned that to add a little Italian seasoning changed the taste completely. Also putting the whites of the scallions in to the meat and cooking slowly for a short time really helped. We really enjoyed the meal except we felt that cheddar cheese would have given it more taste than the mozzarella.
Next time I would mix the Italian seasoning in after the tomatoes were added as just putting it on the beef did not flavor the sauce much, so it tasted too much like plain tomatoes.
This was awesome! What a way to display minimum quality ingredients, turned this spaghetti into a million dollar meal! Thank you. My scallions were sooooo fresh and glad, because they were only produce for this meal.
Perfect meal, perfectly easy, almost perfectly portioned- you can afford to give a full serving of pasta per meal, about 4oz maybe a little more uncooked spaghetti. The stuff costs literally around [MASKED]/[MASKED] or less at Aldi. You can afford to send a pound for 4 people!
Perfect! The only thing I would suggest is trying two cheeses instead of just mozzarella. I bet that would be really good!
This is one of the few pasta dishes where I liked the amount of sauce. Usually there isn't enough. Will order again.
There was not enough sauce to cover and cook the al dente spaghetti. I had to tweak it myself.
I ended up dicing up a jalapeno and putting it in with the scallions. It ended up adding some extra veggies that made it more filling.
It was a little bland. I tried adding some red pepper flakes for extra spice but I feel it was still missing something. Definitely a hearty meal overall and glad that I tried it. I just feel I have had better pasta dishes from HF.
This dish is difficult to eat due to the baked mozzarella making the noodles clump together. I'm not sure if that was due to an error on my part but, in addition, the flavor of the spaghetti was bland.
