For this homestyle dinner, our chefs add tons of flavor to tender seared beef meatballs with a tangy-sweet barbecue glaze. The meatballs are served beside crisp seasoned potato wedges and tender salt-and-pepper roasted green beans. A side of our creamy buttermilk ranch dressing for dipping or drizzling completes this tasty scene.

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Cooking Steps

Roast Potato Wedges
1

• Adjust racks to top and middle positions and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry produce. • Cut potatoes into 1⁄2-inch-thick wedges. • Toss potatoes on a baking sheet with a large drizzle of oil, half the Fry Seasoning (you’ll use the rest in Step 3), salt, and pepper. Roast on top rack until browned and tender, 20-25 minutes.

Roast Green Beans
2

• Meanwhile, trim green beans if necessary. • On a second baking sheet, toss green beans with a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper. Roast on middle rack until green beans are browned and tender, 12-15 minutes.

Form Meatballs
3

• Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine beef*, panko, remaining Fry Seasoning, and 1⁄2 tsp salt (1 tsp for 4 servings). • Form into 10-12 1 1⁄2-inch meatballs (20-24 meatballs for 4).

Cook Meatballs
4

• Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned all over, 4-6 minutes. TIP: If there’s excess grease in your pan, carefully pour it out.

Glaze Meatballs
5

• Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce and 1⁄4 cup water (1/3 cup for 4 servings). • Remove pan from heat and stir BBQ sauce mixture into pan with meatballs. Return pan to low heat and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are cooked through and glazed, 5 minutes more. TIP: If glaze seems too thick, stir in a splash of water.

Serve
6

• Divide potato wedges, green beans, and meatballs between plates in separate sections. Serve with ranch on the side for dipping.

Ground Beef is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 160°.

Review summary

Updated on Dec 2025
  • Flavor: Many loved the tangy BBQ glaze, though some found the meatballs a bit bland; adding extra seasoning boosted flavor 🍲.
  • Ease of prep: Quick and simple to make, though forming and cooking meatballs took time for some; baking instead of pan-frying worked well.
  • Suggestions: Consider adding onions to the meatballs for more flavor. Try mashed potatoes instead of wedges for a comforting twist.
  • Leftovers: The meal kept well, with some enjoying meatball bowls the next day by adding rice.
  • Texture: A few found the meatballs dense or dry; adding liquid to the mix or adjusting cooking time may help.

Easy quick meal. I didn't want to make a mess cooking the meatballs on the stove, so I put them in the oven with the potatoes & green beans. I brushed them with the BBQ sauce and put them in the oven for about 15 minutes, brushing them again with the sauce halfway through. 👍

Love love this meal! I was worried it would be time consuming making meatballs but it was a very fast and easy meal to make. The BBQ sauce cooked into a very yummy glaze.

Meatballs turned out great, nice and tender and juicy. I made them small so they were one bites. Really nice bbq, rich and smoky. So easy!

Great tangy BBQ sauce. Easy sheet pan potatoes & green beans. Meatballs needed shallot or onion.

The meatballs and potatoes were great. I have often received green beans in my orders. Roasting them as directed results in a very tough, inedible side dish, so I've resorted to cooking them more conventionally-steaming, etc. Thank you.

Great taste of beef and green beans. Always love the potatoes but I should not eat so many and you have so many recipes that include them. I really do not like or tolerate high spicy and thus was not

Super easy to make and really tasty. One change to the recipe directions was to add the green beans to the potato pan - family likes them a little softer.

Super good meatballs. Would love to see leaner beef sent. Potatoes too small for wedges shown in picture. I made mashed potatoes instead.

Love these! Since it's bbq it would've been great with potato salad but the recipe as it is was delicious. We ate it within 2 meals so there's left overs and I don't mind that a bit as long as they get eaten and this recipe disappeared a day after I made it!

We added a little Monterey Jack cheese to the meatballs before cooking and 🤤🤤🤤! Collectively, one of our favorites. Everyone approved and said we should add to the rotation every-time it's available.
