
What’s better than cooking Dad a burger for his special day? Making him one that’s juicy, charred, and stuffed with melty cheese! Our Father's Day edition burgers are stuffed with an Italian cheese blend, grilled up just right, and loaded onto toasted brioche buns spread with pesto aioli. We recommend grilling your burgers for the perfect oozy cheese, but cooking on the stovetop will also do the trick! *Nutrition values are representative of a 1/4 bundle serving.*

Cooking Oil
Combine pesto and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Halve buns. Form beef into two ½-inch-thick rounds; season lightly with salt and pepper. Divide half the cheese between each patty; gently fold meat around cheese to create cheese-stuffed patties, each slightly wider than a bun. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat a well-oiled grill to medium high, or heat a drizzle of oil in a grill pan or large pan over medium-high heat. Cook burgers to desired doneness (we suggest 3-5 minutes per side, but grills can vary). In the last 2 minutes of cooking, top patties with remaining cheese; cook until cheese melts. Add buns; toast until bread is golden. Spread tops of toasted buns with pesto aioli. Fill buns with burgers and serve.
These burgers were fantastic. I was concerned about the burger meat because it was very dense, but it smelled very fresh when raw and was nice and tender when cooked. The brioche buns are a great choice - the texture and flavor go perfectly with the meat. The only things that I think could make this meal better would be a different brand of pesto (the pesto itself was not that good) and maybe adding some sliced tomatoes (fresh or roasted) to the sandwich. That said, we really liked these and would order them again.
I do not like pesto, but my family loved it. If not for Hello Fresh, they would never be exposed to such interesting recipes. Really opening my eyes to trying new things and getting out of the rut of the same rotation of meals every week.
We really enjoyed these. One pack of cheese is not enough for 4 burgers though. Will order again and have more cheese on hand.

Do not reheat or the cheese loses its taste and the aioli gets way too strong. Fresh is best.

The patties were larger than I expected. Meat needs more seasoning if it isn't high quality. Love the pesto.
Great flavor. I tweak it a little and just fry up the ground beef and then mix it all together and add to the buns to save a little time.
Nice twist on a burger. Air fried the patties. Served with Rosemary garlic fries.
