The best thing since sliced bread? Sliced and toasted bread loaded up with flavors we love! For this light lunch, sourdough is toasted until golden, then spread with tangy goat cheese. Next, you’ll add color and crunch with thinly sliced cukes and a handful of peppery, lemon-kissed arugula. Drape with salty-savory prosciutto, and top it all off with a drizzle of hot honey for a kick of sweet heat. It’s truly a toast with the most!

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Cooking Steps

1

• Wash and dry produce.

2

• Toast sourdough.

3

• Quarter lemon. Thinly slice cucumber on a diagonal; season with salt and pepper. Separate prosciutto slices; cut crosswise into ½-inch strips. TIP: For easier spreading, bring goat cheese to room temperature.

4

• In a medium bowl, toss together arugula, a large drizzle of olive oil, and juice from one lemon wedge (juice from two wedges for 4 servings). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5

• Spread a thin layer of goat cheese over toasted sourdough. Top with as much sliced cucumber as you like. Arrange dressed arugula and prosciutto on top.

6

• Divide toasts between plates; drizzle with hot honey. Serve with remaining lemon wedges and any remaining cucumber on the side.

The goat cheese was skimpy; it would have been nice to have twice the amount provided. Also, I really wish you would use a hardier lettuce than arugula, because it always arrives mostly spoiled although I was able to rescue a few leaves. I decided to crisp the prosciutto (30 seconds in the microwave on paper towels.) But overall it was yummy. The hot honey is out of this world.

Needed at least twice as much goat cheese, even putting rice as much as the recipe called for, the toasts didn't look anything like the photo with a generous portion of cheese showing! We added Brie on 1/2 of our toast instead. Other than that it was very tasty and I'd order it again.

I love the flavor of this meal but I felt the quantity of ingredient was lacking. I had to supplement my own cucumber and I would have needed double the goat cheese to get a full spread on each toast like is shown in the picture.

The arugula and lemon overpowers everything and you can't taste the prosciutto or anything else. Def needs more prosciutto

This was a great combo and enjoyed the flavors! I didn't have enough meat for the 4 slices of bread. I would give it 4 stars if it came with more meat. 1 slice is not enough to get the flavor. That's why I doubled it and made 2 instead of 4.

It was messy and not very filling, great snack/small lunch but not for a full meal, also one tiny baby cucumber was not enough for four toasts. I only got two-three thin slices on each one

Loved this. It was so fresh and the touch of honey made it perfect!

I thought the cucumbers didn't add anything to the flavors and made the whole toast difficult to eat because of their slippery texture. Tomatoes would taste better, but would also have the same slip issue.

We had to get a new cucumber and skip the arugula bc it was spoiled, but the recipe itself is delicious

It was really delicious but not enough goat cheese! Could have used another package or two. The picture is deceiving!
