You could take 10 minutes to debate what to have for lunch, but why not use that time to make these super satisfying wraps instead? We think that’s a no-brainer. All you have to do is slice the pre-cooked chicken, toss it with the greens, almonds, dried cranberries, and honey mustard dressing, then roll everything in tortillas. While there may not be such a thing as a free lunch, this one’s stress-free.
9 ounce
Fully Cooked Chicken Breasts
2 unit
Flour Tortillas
(Contains: Soy, Wheat)
2 ounce
Mixed Greens
1 ounce
Dried Cranberries
3 ounce
Honey Dijon Dressing
(Contains: Eggs)
½ ounce
Sliced Almonds
(Contains: Tree Nuts)
Cut chicken* into ½-inch slices.
In a large bowl, toss chicken, mixed greens, honey Dijon dressing, almonds, and cranberries.
Wrap tortillas in damp paper towels and microwave until warm and pliable, 30 seconds.
Place tortillas on a clean work surface. Place chicken salad on the bottom third of each tortilla. Fold up bottom side of each tortilla over filling, then fold over left and right sides toward the filling. Roll up tortillas, starting with filled sides, to form wraps. (TIP: For less mess, place each tortilla on a large piece of foil before rolling then wrap up with foil. Simply unwrap as you eat!).
Halve wraps on a diagonal; divide between plates and serve.
Super fresh and clean taste, the cranberries go really great with the honey mustard dressing and the almonds give a nice crunch, while the arugula makes the wrap more substantial. More than anything though, I love how speedy this meal is. Some of the '10 minute meals' take a bit longer, especially when they require stove top cooking or a decent amount of chopping, but this one actually takes me a decent amount less than 10 minutes, closer to maybe 5. I hope to see this meal around for a long time.
This recipe was so easy to out together. The chicken was tender & juicy and the veggies were fresh. I loved the crunch of the almonds, with the tangy chew of the cranberries. The only thing I'd have done different is possibly add some feta or blue cheese.
One of our favorites! Toast the almonds, remove the large stems from the greens, only use one packet of dressing. heat the chicken in the microwave for 1 minute before slicing, assemble the wraps and microwave for 30 seconds before serving. It all fits in the wrap if you compress it! Other than that, just follow the directions. Oh, and a slice of cheese might be good on this also.
This was so quick and easy. I wasn't sure if I would like the precooked chicken breasts, and I don't think I would eat them alone, but they were tasty when chopped up and tossed with the greens, almonds, cranberries, and honey mustard. Good for lunch or a light dinner.
Never thought I would eat cranberries and almonds in my wrap but the combination of flavors is soo good! I do not eat mixed greens but I substituted it with shredded cheese and it was perfect!
The Honey Mustard Chicken Salad Wrap was pretty good. I would add a little more of the almonds and the cranberries. We couldn't really taste any of those ingredients because of the large amount of Honey mustard we were served.
Yummy and quick! Prepped the chicken, almonds, and cranberries mix the night before and it was enough to last me almost 3 meals.
One of my all time favorites-wrap that you would purchase from a deli! It is so easy and so good! I love the honey mustard and the crunch of the almonds!
One of our favorites. We wish you would figure out some more salad wraps. Perhaps a chicken salad option with cranberries. They are fast to make and they disappear in a blink.
The flavor is great but there is easy too little salad to be enough for two wraps
