These kid-sized cheeseburger sliders are perfect for lunch boxes! Topped with mild cheddar and sandwiched between rounds of white bread (no crusts here), we’re pretty sure you won’t see this lunch coming back uneaten. Pair with cukes, oranges and grapes (or sub in whatever your kiddos prefer—you’re the lunch chef!). Rest assured your little ones will get the fuel they need, and without all the planning and shopping, you’ll have more time for them—or for you! • Wash and dry produce. • Using a large drinking glass or round cookie cutter, cut circles out of the centers of bread (about a 3½-inch round per piece).

• Trim and thinly slice cucumber into rounds. • Halve orange; slice crosswise into ½-inch-thick half-moons. • Halve grapes if desired.

• In a large bowl, combine beef* and a pinch of salt and pepper. Form into three patties (six patties for 6 servings), each slightly wider than the bread rounds.

• Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook to desired doneness, 3-5 minutes per side. • In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with cheddar and cover to melt cheese. • Transfer patties to a paper-towel-lined plate.

• Spread each bread round with ketchup. Top half the rounds with cheesy patties and remaining bread rounds, ketchup sides down, to form sliders.

• To serve: Divide sliders between plates. Serve with tortilla chips, cucumber rounds, orange slices, and grapes on the side. • To stash: Let sliders cool completely. Refrigerate sliders, tortilla chips, cucumber rounds, orange slices, and grapes in separate containers and pack as desired for lunch!
Ground Beef is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 160°.
My kids thought the sliders were delicious. I loved how it was a rounded out meal with sides. They ate everything! Easy to prepare and more thoughtful than anything I could have come up with. I've loved everything I've ever ordered from you guys!
My daughter didn't love it but she's 2 so everything is hit or miss, my husband and I loved it! A healthy yummy lunch or snack for any age! It did get my daughter to eat her veggies and orange!
A nice lunch. Only problem was the bread was very thin, and putting on a warm hamburger and ketchup made the bread soggy. Burger juices and ketchup seeped right through the bread making this finger-food messy. Perhaps if it was toasted it would've stood up to the liquids, but this wasn't called for in the instructions.
The patties -- divided into three -- were still too big for the buns provided. However, I loved that it fit perfectly into the bento box that I use to take lunches to work.
I added a little drizzle of Worcestershire sauce and olive oil to the meat for extra flavor.
So good! I ate this for dinner last night and was pleased with everything and was sooo full!!!!
Just the right portions and tastes great in a cold lunch.
Fun for the kids! Ours came with the grapes as the description says. no tomatoes as the ingredients pictured.
Kinda average little dish, but convenient. I think hamburger buns would have been better. We ended up adding several additional seasonings to the beef to make it tastier and toasting the bread to try and make it slightly more interesting.
Quick, easy, & tasty! Need more fruit for more servings
