Here we mix rich cream cheese with lemon zest then drizzle the whole board with Mike’s Hot Honey and a squeeze of tangy lemon juice to balance the flavors. Wash and dry produce. Zest and quarter lemon. Place cream cheese and lemon zest in a small bowl. Lightly season with salt and pepper; stir to combine. In a separate small bowl, combine red pepper jam and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Place a small dollop (about 1½ tsp) of cream cheese in one corner of a serving board. Using the back of a spoon, gently press the dollop in the center and swipe to one side to create a small swoop. Place another small dollop next to the previous one and swoop. Repeat, building an overlapping, wave-like pattern on the board.
Drizzle cream cheese with red pepper jam and hot honey. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice to taste and remaining lemon wedges on the side.
Unique flavor. I could not stop eating this! I do wish it had come with something to dip into the cheese, but I cut up an apple I had at home and it was so good!
Very difficult to get the cream cheese to look like the picture. Going to make this again, but as a dip.
This was ok but it's not a stand-alone snack. We cut up some bread and toasted it so we'd have something to eat it with. It's also pretty difficult to get it to look like the picture. The hot honey was the best part though.
Interesting item for a charcutarie or cheese board. I like the mild spicy addition.
This is out of this world used for book club and it was first thing gone
A awesome evening snack with wine! Was delicious and a nice treat!
