Looking for a way to add tons of extra flavor to your meal with almost NO effort? We’ve got two words for you: pan sauce. This one comes together in less than 5 minutes with aromatic fresh ginger and garlic, umami-packed miso sauce concentrate, and sweet peach jam. It’s drizzled all over seared pork chops, then served with fluffy rice and tender green beans. If you find yourself licking the plate clean, we won’t judge.

• Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and dry all produce. • Peel and mince ginger. Trim green beans if necessary. Peel and mince garlic. Zest and quarter lemon. • Pat pork* dry with paper towels and season all over with salt and pepper.

• Heat a drizzle of oil in a small pot over medium-high heat. Add half the ginger and cook until fragrant, 30 seconds. • Stir in rice, ¾ cup water (1½ cups for 4 servings), and a big pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes. • Keep covered off heat until ready to serve.

• While rice cooks, heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook until browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes per side. • Turn off heat; remove from pan. Wipe out pan.

• While pork cooks, toss green beans on a baking sheet with a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper. • Roast on top rack until browned and tender, 10-12 minutes.

• Return pan used for pork to medium heat. Add a drizzle of oil, garlic, and remaining ginger. Cook, stirring, until fragrant, 30 seconds. • Add ¼ cup water (1/3 cup for 4 servings), jam, and miso sauce concentrate. Cook, stirring, until thickened, 3-4 minutes. • Remove pan from heat and stir in 2 TBSP butter (4 TBSP for 4) until melted. Stir in a squeeze of lemon juice to taste.

• Fluff rice with a fork; stir in lemon zest and a pinch of salt if necessary. • Divide rice, pork, and green beans between plates. Drizzle pork with sauce and serve with any remaining lemon wedges on the side.
Enjoyed the flavor of the pork chop with peach miso glaze and the ginger rice. Delicious! However, I don't think the rice should be cooked first as it gets sticky. Also it should be rinsed through with cold water until clear before cooking. That small amount of rice cooked very quickly and I needed to reheat it (I steamed it to reheat) while the chops had to be kept warm. The beans should be roasted earlier, needed extra time after the pork chop was ready. So order of cooking should be 1. roast beans, 2. pork chop, 3. rice. No need to salt rice - already salty - just add pepper.
One of our favorite meals is the apricot ginger pork chops so we HAD to try this. And guess what! It was just as delicious as that. The sweet peach mixed with the umami of miso. The lovely bright ginger rice and the tender green beans. Definitely another one of our go to meals
Such a surprise! Pork was super high quality - really liked the cut and portions. Trimmed really well. The miso was a perfect savory/salty cut to the peach jam. Also, the rice recipe was great and I'll make that again. I'd love to have a more fragrant/higher quality Jasmine grain, but the flavors overall were bang on. Super simple to prepare and will definitely do again!
Very good flavor. Cooked both at the same time -- chopped the green beans and pork into 1/2 to 1" pieces then combined with the rice. Great as a rice bowl. NEEDS MORE PEACH JAM & MISO FOR EACH 2 SERVINGS
Second favorite meal from HF. The Miso Peach sauce is delicious and the ginger rice is great. I overcooked my green beans so they were very leathery, need to not use top rack as it says on the instruction card as it dries the beans out too much.
Really lovely flavors that blend together well. Lime ginger rice, and a jammy ginger garlic sauce. I seared pork chops in pan, but then finished them in oven alongside the green beans. This gave the green beans a very decadent flavor.
Never have I ever.... made a pork chop that WASN'T dry! Well, not this time! The peach miso sauce paired perfectly with the tender, moist porkchop. Well rounded meal. Fresh green beans!
The miso peach sauce on the pork was delicious. Worked well with ginger rice. Great meal, easy to fix! I'm wondering if green beans would come out better if blanched first then put in oven - I don't know mine came out kinda crunchy and raw with ends burnt. I'm sure it's an operator error kind of thing!
The miso peach glaze was amazing on top and was great if you put it on the pork chop & the rice, otherwise the rice was a little bland and the green beans were boring
In the spirit of Pride season, we are saying yaaaas to this dish. The miso peach sauce was absolutely delectable and the ginger rice was delicious. This is my favorite Asian dish of the selection I've tried so far. Yum.
