Loved the pesto mayo! The fresh mozzarella was so good! I thought that two slices of Prosciutto was a little stingy but, after tasting complete sandwich, two slices was really all it needed. Lots of flavor and very filling.
Mayo to pesto ratio was a little strong on the pesto side but the produce and mozzarella were very delicious. We toasted the bread which made for an extremely good and filling sandwich.
Delicious and filling. The tomato was perfectly fresh and juicy. Prosciutto was flavorful and not too funky/aged tasting. Pesto was a perfect complement. I only wish it wasn't so high calorie!
This sandwich was a real winner. I've never thought of eating prosciutto raw. The pesto, cheese and ham complemented each other amazingly. I would have preferred a regular tomato rather than the plum tomatoes Hello Fresh uses.
Prosciutto was very fatty and didn't have much taste and tomato was not red so was sour tasting. Sandwich had strong flavor from the pesto but it blocked out the cheese and meat flavors.
Delicious without the mayo. Just used a teaspoon of pesto on one side of the bread and mustard on the other for a healthier choice. The bread was a bit chunky, but the sandwich was delicious. I used whole wheat bread for my sandwich so we actually got 3 sandwiches out of it.
Pesto sauce is a bit bitter. We also cook the meat a bit in a frying pan, put the sandwich together and grill in a frying pan slowly pushing the sandwich down... It's delicious as a panini!
I made as directed except I crisped the prosciutto in equal (very small) amounts of olive oil and butter then fried two over easy eggs in the remaining flavored fat and added to the sandwich. Gourmet delight, may purchase every week for a 10 minute meal!!!
Ingredients are good. Just seemed to not be a good bread to filling ratio. Straight pesto on the bread was greasy, mixed with a little mayo and got a nice consistency that added great flavor and moisture.
Best sandwich ever. The Pesto does not need the added mayo to make it great.
