2 unit
Sourdough Bread
(Contains: Soy, Wheat)
½ cup
Cheddar Cheese
(Contains: Milk)
2.5 ounce
Marinara Cup
1.5 ounce
Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
(Contains: Milk, Eggs)
4 tablespoon
Guacamole
Place bread slices on a clean work surface. Evenly top half the slices with cheddar and remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
Melt 2 TBSP butter in a large, preferably nonstick, pan over medium heat. Once butter has melted, add sandwiches and cook until bread is golden and cheese has melted slightly, 2-3 minutes per side. (Work in batches if necessary.)
Cut sandwiches crosswise into 1-inch thick strips. Serve with marinara, dressing, and guacamole on the side for dipping.
I've never made a grilled cheese with grated cheese but I will in the future! The marinara sauce was a great alternative to tomato soup. I saved the guacamole and ranch dressing for other uses.
This is a classic and so easy to prepare- the guac, ranch and marinara make it much more versatile and a nice way to customize each meal.
I've made grilled cheese for many years but never thought to have dipping sauces - especially guacamole. Dippers elevate the simple grilled cheese!
This was so easy and tasty. I used the marinara and saved the ranch and gauc for later. I used the left over bacon jam on the sandwiches which made it even more delicious. It hit the spot as I have not had a grilled cheese in a very long time. Thank you!
I enjoyed the grilled cheese dippers. It was the first time I tried guacamole with my grilled cheese..yummy. The only comment is I would butter each slice of bread instead of using butter in the pan.. it works better.
This was a great light lunch for me and the guacamole, along with sour cream and marinara were nice sandwich companions. The sourdough and cheddar were great choices for the grilled cheese.
A nice pop to your every day grilled cheese sandwich with the marinara sauce, ranch and avocado but especially the marinara and sour dough bread. Game changer for a simple snack.
Grilled cheese is always good, and the dippers were great, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. The cheese doesn't melt before the butter is soaked up, making it hard to flip the sandwiches and cook them evenly. I most definitely prefer buttering the bread itself and cooking low and slow to get an even butter toast while the cheese melts.
Really yummy! especially the different dipping sauces. I think I would offer sliced cheese instead of shredded. It tends to not stay on the bread well when you flip it to the other side in the pan when cooking.
Insanely easy and fast! The guacamole, ranch, and marinara each add such an interesting flavor to simple bread and cheese!
