• Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry produce. • In a small pot, combine rice, 3⁄4 cup water (1 1⁄2 cups for 4 servings), and a big pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes. • Keep covered off heat until ready to serve.

• While rice cooks, trim green beans if necessary. Toss on a baking sheet with a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper. • Roast on top rack until golden brown and tender, 12-15 minutes.

• Meanwhile, trim and thinly slice scallions, separating whites from greens. Peel and mince ginger. • In a small bowl, combine hoisin, honey, 2 TBSP water (3 TBSP for 4 servings), and Sriracha to taste.

• Pat chicken* dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. • Heat a large drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and almost cooked through, 3-5 minutes.

• Once chicken is browned, add scallion whites and ginger to pan. Cook until fragrant, 1 minute. • Pour in hoisin honey sauce. Cook until sauce has thickened and chicken is coated and cooked through, 2-3 minutes. Turn off heat.

• Fluff rice with a fork and stir in 1 TBSP butter (2 TBSP for 4 servings); season with salt and pepper. • Divide rice, green beans, and chicken between plates. Garnish with scallion greens and sesame seeds. Serve.
Loved the Hoisin Honey! Added great flavor to the chicken, rice and green beans. The touch of ginger and hot sauce topped it off! I didn't make it too spicy as my dad can't have spicy....but just enough to bring the meal up a notch. Would love to have that again.
Sooooo good!!! I actually made it with asparagus on the side as I don't really care for green beans. The hoisin honey chicken was drool-worthy...this is definitely a new favorite! I never knew I liked hoisin sauce or sriracha before this recipe!
Now this recipe caught me off guard a little. I had my doubts since I didn't know what Hoisin Sauce was and I hate green beans. But, the chicken and rice was amazing and I couldn't believe how delicious the green beans were. Now I know how to cook them so I can eat them.
Hoisin Honey Chicken with Jasmine Rice is now on our favorites list. Easy, delicious, perfect blend of hoisin, honey and spice. Will definitely order again!
We love the rice bowls. They are at the top of our list. The jasmine rice is always amazing. The chicken is always tender. This sauce for this dish was a tasty treat. We didn't use all of the sriracha though. The hoisin sauce was extremely good.
I love the flavor given by hoisin sauce, so this recipe was enticing from the beginning. We had never tried green beans with hoisin sauce so it was a new adventure. One of my favorites!
Even though I overcooked/burned the rice and had to substitute some from our pantry, the meal turned out very nicely. Hoisin sauce was perfect and the green beans were some of the best we've had.
The best part was the green beans. The flavor of the hoisin chicken was pretty good too. Definitely NOT enough rice for 2 people. It was barely enough for 1 person. Had to make extra rice to go with it.
For this particular dish I would recommend cooking the ginger in with the jasmine rice, instead of adding it with the scallions to cook in the hoisin sauce. The ginger ended up overpowering the flavor of the dish and didn't soften up in texture by adding in after cooking the chicken in the pan.
This was absolutely delicious! The chicken was tender and juicy the green beans were fresh and crisp! And the hoisin sauce was just perfect I will definitely be getting this again!
