Making a great sandwich is an art form. Dramatics aside, when you get it right, there’s really nothing better. Luckily, we’ve made nailing it totally effortless. (All you have to do is assemble and dig in.) This one’s got ciabatta bread, creamy basil sauce, ripe tomatoes, mixed greens, and fresh mozz. There’s also a balsamic-tossed side salad to round things out. Put everything together at the office or be your own best friend and whip it up before you leave for work. When noon rolls around, you’ll be looking at the office fridge with heart eyes.

Wash and dry all produce.
Pick basil leaves from stems; finely chop leaves. Peel and mince or grate garlic. Halve ciabattas; toast until golden if desired. Halve tomatoes lengthwise; slice crosswise into half-moons. Thinly slice mozzarella into rounds.
In a medium bowl, toss mixed greens and almonds with vinegar and a large drizzle of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, combine crème fraîche and chopped basil with garlic to taste. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread creamy basil sauce onto cut sides of ciabattas. Fill with tomatoes, mozzarella, and a bit of salad.
Halve sandwiches on a diagonal and divide between plates. Toss any remaining tomatoes into remaining salad; serve on the side.
I have ordered these sandwiches a few times. I enjoy everything about them except the bread which is always a little dry without much flavor to it. I have been tempted to trash the bread and use freshly made similar bread from the grocery store which is soooo much better. But I would hate to have to do that. I would order these and your similar sandwiches much more often if I could count on the bread being more fresh and tasty.
Very good! The creamy spread was super delish. The salad was very strong, i should have used less vinegar
Delicious, and was able to make 3rd sandwich using bread I had on-hand
I love this sandwich. I order it whenever it is available.
Husband's favorite sandwich! He always looks for it when I unpack the Hello Fresh box!
The quality of the products were much better this week. The bread was still sealed and the tomatoes weren't green.
Felt like a chef. I like that I can make something that looks as good as the picture.
I always like these, and every version has been great! Keep them coming :)
First time doing a lunch. Easy and so flavorful. Will do again
It was fine. Would have preferred a bit riper tomato but I appreciate the challenges in finding and then shipping a ripe tomato
