• Wash and dry produce.
• Trim and thinly slice scallions, separating whites from greens. Quarter lemon. Dice tomato into ½-inch pieces.
• Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Thinly slice crosswise. Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken, scallion whites, garlic powder, 1 tsp Italian Seasoning (2 tsp for 4 servings; save remaining for another use), salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is warmed through and scallion whites are tender, 2-3 minutes.
• Remove from heat; stir in cream cheese, juice from one lemon wedge, and 3 TBSP water (two lemon wedges and 6 TBSP water for 4 servings) until melted and combined. (TIP: For saucier chicken, stir in another splash of water if needed.) Turn off heat; transfer to a plate. Wipe out pan.
• In a small bowl, combine tomato, half the scallion greens, juice from one lemon wedge (two lemon wedges for 4 servings), salt, and pepper.
• Place tortillas on a clean work surface. Add saucy chicken and tomato relish (draining first) to bottom third of each tortilla. Fold up bottom side of each tortilla over filling, then fold over left and right sides toward filling. Roll up tortillas, starting with filled sides, to form wraps.
• Heat a drizzle of oil in pan used for chicken over medium heat. Add wraps and cook until golden brown on all sides, 4-6 minutes. TIP: Depending on the size of your pan, you may need to work in batches, adding a drizzle of oil between batches and adjusting heat as needed.
• Halve wraps on a diagonal; divide between plates. Top with remaining scallion greens and serve.
Super fast to make. I love that it came with pre cooked chicken. Amazingly delicious. Savory and tasty. This one makes the top 5 in my favorite meals with Hello Fresh. I wish I could order it each week. I almost made the remaining portion for myself immediately after. This recipe also gives a great opportunity to add more ingredients of your choice. Oh, I forgot to mention it's low in calories too!!
The tortillas broke easily when rolling up the food. I usually put them in the microwave for a few seconds with a spritz of water to moisten them up, but I followed the directions because the meals have been so good, and I didn't want to screw it up, but I wish I had, so they would have stayed in the wrap better. It was delicious though - slightly heavy on the italian seasoning for me, but my husband loved it!
Really tasty -- I did add some red pepper flakes to the saucy chicken and it was a nice addition. The relish was delicious too! Very satisfying quick lunch meal!
Liked this wrap. It's nice heated up, and I have to cook tomatoes so I can eat them due to allergies. The good thing is tomatoes sweeten when cooked, which added a whole other level to this wrap. Delicious.
They weren't bad! The sauce was really good and I might've been the one to screw up this meal. If I got this again, I would cut up the chicken this time (the instructions didn't say to) and use lemon juice to seal the wrap. I'm not great at wrap wrapping! But the flavor was very good.
This was so surprising with pre cooked chicken it came out delicious by preheating it with the cream cheese and italian seasoning
Awesome! Don't change a thing...although, it's not necessary to put the onion garnish on a wrap. Would've been better to have had all of it in the wrap!
I'm always happy when my husband says he likes a meal from Hello Fresh. He was quick to positively comment on this dish. The prep was fast, cleanup was fast, so what's not to like? The combination of spices and food ingredients was delightful. I will definitely make this again.
I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did but it was easy to prepare and I really liked the flavor of the sauce. In fact I might have liked a little more sauce to make the filling more moist
Those tortillas are not quite big enough to do a burrito wrap with that filling, so it's hard to keep them closed when toasting them. This is a pretty consistent problem I have with Hello Fresh meals that include tortillas, actually.
