Spinach and artichokes don’t usually get much hype, but swirl them into a creamy dip? Instant fave. With this version, you’ll simply warm up the dip with until hot and bubbly and toast the baguette slices to serve on the side for dipping—it’s the perfect dinner app or afternoon snack. Nutrition values are representative of a 1/2 bundle serving.

Cooking Steps

1

Adjust racks to top and middle position and preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2

Cut one corner of bag with scissors and pour dip into a small baking dish. Bake on middle rack until warmed through, 15-18 minutes.

3

Meanwhile, slice baguettes crosswise into eight rounds. Spread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Toast on top rack until golden brown, 5-10 minutes.

Review summary

Updated on Sep 2026
  • Flavor: Opinions are split — some loved the rich, generous dip, while others found it bland, too salty, or more soup-like than a classic spinach artichoke dip. 🍲
  • Ease of prep: Baking the dip in the oven produces much better results than the boil-in-bag method, which left it watery and runny for several reviewers.
  • Suggestions: Add shredded mozzarella or gouda on top before baking for extra cheesiness; a splash of garlic and Parmesan also helped boost flavor. Some found blending the dip briefly improved the texture when the artichoke chunks felt too large.
  • Leftovers: The dip portion is generous — several reviewers had plenty left over and enjoyed it the next day with chips or added crab meat for a fun twist.
  • Bread ratio: Nearly every reviewer agreed there isn't enough bread for the amount of dip — keep extra crackers, tortilla chips, or a second baguette on hand to make the most of it.

Pretty good spinach and artichoke dip for a boil in bag option! Not the most flavorful compared to a lot of other things HelloFresh gives you to actually make, but for pre-made it was good. There was definitely way too much dip though for the amount of bread. Make sure you have spare crackers or a baguette on hand!

This was delicious! Thick and flavorful, with large chunks of artichokes- which I LOVE. Easy to make and the baguettes were perfect.

This is the best spinach dip I have ever had!! And so easy! I bet it would be good over pasta too.

Artichoke dip was a hit at a potluck. I wish it came with tortilla chips rather than bread. Not enough bread for the amount of dip.

This is my favorite spinach artichoke dip I've ever had. Even better than restaurant versions, and generous amount.

I love how there isn't the gummy cheese on top. Such great flavor and the baguettes really were a good dipping vessel.

Yum! This was delicious and easy to make. I think I would prefer chips, such as bagel chips, but it was a great appetizer.

Love it. I sprinkled parm across the top and baked then broiled it to get some crispy edges 😌

The cook time on the baguettes were way off for my oven. I'll give this another try and adjust the baking time since my oldest son loves spinach dip!

Big artichoke chunks! Too much cream base, SO MUCH dip! Was expecting a little smaller serving for the two loaves
