Re portions too small - please be more generous with the green beans if you're going to make them a focus veg, there really isn't enough for two servings (more like one and a half). Otherwise I liked this, the BBQ spice may not be quite as tasty as barbecue sauce but it also has way less sugar & other things; the honey makes a more natural glaze and mixed well with the BBQ spice. And it was nice to have mashed sweet potatoes as an option, regular potatoes get boring. I put some scallion in mine too for a bit more texture & flavor. A tasty meal! :)
The sweet potatoes were very small, to the amount of mashed sweet potatoes was not enough for two meals. I did not add the honey, because my packet of honey was smashed, and leaked all over the bottom of the bag. Otherwise, it was very good.
I was SO looking forward to this recipe, unfortunately that BBQ seasoning burns up like crazy even on medium heat, my chicken breasts were COMPLETELY black and charred ☹️ bummer
Green beans not trimmed. In a microwave bag, so you either have to open the bag to trim them or trim beans after cooked.
