Halve buns. Form beef into 4 equal-sized patties, each slightly wider than the buns; season generously with salt and pepper.
GRILL: Heat a well-oiled grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Cook burgers to desired doneness (we suggest 3-5 minutes per side, but grills can vary). In the last 2 minutes of cooking, top patties with cheddar; cover and cook until cheese melts. Add buns; toast until golden. Fill buns with burgers and serve.
STOVETOP: Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook burgers to desired doneness, 3-5 minutes per side. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, top patties with cheddar; cover and cook until cheese melts. Toast buns in burger drippings if desired. Fill buns with burgers and serve.
The Cheeseburgers were Juicy, tasty and everything that you would want in a cheeseburger. We made it from the recipe, and we loved every bit of it. This is so easy to prepare and fast better than going out, we can have a nice meal at home.
Four LARGE Brioche (thick) buns were sent for 10 oz of ground beef. No way was that enough meat for 4 burgers. So, I just made one "normal size" hamburger, and it was good. Next time, use Slider buns for so little meat.
I added 1/2 half diced yellow onions and 1/8 cup of Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef and the cheeseburgers were excellent.
These were terrific. The buns were delicious. I seasoned the meat before I cooked it with the recommended salt and pepper, but also onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
I love the Brioche buns. I can not go back to using regular buns. Since this is a German company I wish you would use "German" bread and hard rolls in the recipes. There is no bread like German bread!!!
The sweetness of the brioche with the tangy rich cheddar and the hearty beef... yes, please!
These were good, add extra toppings and some baked beans and you have a whole meal!
I love the sharp cheddar with these burgers. I did add caramelized onions which made them more amazing!
Really good. Added some BBQ sauce and garlic aioli to the top half of bun and it was perfect!
I got these for when we have the whole family over. We made them last night and everyone loved them. We added our favorite seasonings and it was really good. I have to say the meat we've gotten from HF has been really good quality. The buns are really good too, better than the ones at the grocery store. It was super affordable too.
