Bring your A-game to your next cookout with these chicken sandwiches. Toasted brioche buns are stuffed with chicken that’s topped with a mixture of hot honey, garlic herb butter, and gouda cheese. We recommend grilling your chicken for the perfect char, but cooking on the stove top will do, too.

Place half the garlic herb butter in a small microwave-safe bowl; microwave until melted, 30 seconds. Stir in 2 packets of hot honey. Halve buns. Pat chicken dry with paper towels; season all over with salt and pepper.
Heat a well-oiled grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. (TIP: Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan if you don't have a grill.) Cook chicken until browned and cooked through, 3-5 minutes (grills can vary). In the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush chicken with honey garlic butter mixture and top with cheese; cook until cheese melts. (TIP: If using a pan, cover and cook until cheese melts). Add buns; toast until bread is golden. Spread bottom halves of toasted buns with remaining garlic herb butter. Fill buns with chicken and a drizzle of remaining hot honey. Serve.
When we read the description and it said hot honey, we thought this was going to be spicy, but it was very bland. Since our taste buds expected some kick, we added red pepper flakes to each sandwich, along with a bit of extra honey. The amount of butter and honey provided was not really enough for four chicken breasts and four buns if you actually expected to taste those flavors, which were pretty much swallowed up by the thick buns and thick chicken breasts. It was edible, but too bland for us to consider purchasing again. Maybe if we had a grill it would be a bit different, but for those of us making it on the stove top, not so much.
This is DELICIOUS. Quick, easy, and delish. We used the leftover hot honey garlic butter on the buns before toasting in the oven. Highly recommend! Also suggest buying a bottle of Mike's Hot Honey (some grocery chains have it). I always want more than HelloFresh sends with the portions. It's probably enough for most people, but we love the stuff!
Really excellent with the combo of hot honey and garlic butter on the buns; the gouda was also a great fit for the chicken.
Very tasty sandwich. The chicken had just the right spice with the honey. I just wish it had not slipped on the bun so much. It was a bit hard to bite.
Really good the hot honey and garlic paired together is just a really nice taste. I put some mayo and pickle on mine was really good definitely would eat again
Few ingredients, easy prep, and clean-up. It's hot honey chicken!
These were excellent, enough for 4 meals for 1 person, and really good served cold on a warmed bun (the brioche buns were delicious and the hot honey packet was incredibly scrumptious!)
Pounded the chicken before grilling for better spread over bread and easier bite through. Hot honey was amazing! Perfect blend of heat and sweet.
These were surprisingly good. I just figured it would be just another chicken sandwich but it was quite tasty.
Fresh, tasty sandwiches -- it's a pleasure to make my own honey glazed chicken. I'd definitely get a slaw or salad to go with this dish next time, needs vegetables!
