• Adjust rack to top position (top and middle positions for 8 servings) and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wash and dry produce. • Pat chicken* dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. • In a medium bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, half the vinegar (you’ll use the rest in Step 3), salt, and pepper.

• Place chicken in a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker; pour BBQ sauce mixture over top. Cook on high until cooked through and tender, 1½ hours. • Once chicken has cooked for 1½ hours, transfer to a large bowl. Using two forks, shred chicken. TIP: You can shred chicken directly in slow cooker, but be careful—it’s hot! • Return shredded chicken to slow cooker and stir to combine. Cover and cook for 30 minutes more. Taste and season with salt and pepper if desired.

• After returning chicken to slow cooker, cut potatoes into ¼-inch-thick wedges; toss on a baking sheet (divide between two sheets for 8 servings) with a large drizzle of oil, Fry Seasoning, salt, and pepper. Roast on top rack until browned and tender, 20-25 minutes. (For 8, roast on top and middle racks, swapping rack positions halfway through.) • In a second large bowl, combine coleslaw mix, carrots, mayonnaise, remaining vinegar, 1 tsp white sugar (2 tsp for 8), salt, and pepper.

• Toast buns until golden. • Divide saucy chicken between buns and top with as much slaw as you like. Serve with potato wedges and any remaining slaw on the side.
Chicken is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 165°.
We loved this! Made 4 generous servings. The BBQ sauce was tangy and sweet and the coleslaw topped it nicely. RECIPE CORRECTION!!! The card states time is 1 hr 30 minutes to cook. The directions state cook chicken 1 hr 30 minutes, then shred and cook another 30 minutes. The total cook time should be 2 hours.
We like to cook our Sunday meals in the crockpot so we can watch football. The bbq pulled chicken with the potatoes were to die for. So delicious and easy to make.
The BBQ sauce was delicious and I'm not a fan of coleslaw, but this recipe changed my mind!
The bbq chicken was delicious. The cole slaw had too many carrots. Instead of 1:1 carrots to cabbage, I'd do 2:1 cabbage to carrots.
Great recipe! I prepared the chicken in advance and took it camping over the weekend. It was especially delicious setting by the fire 😃
YUM this was one of my favorites I've had or made ever from HelloFresh! Whole family loved it! Maybe just a few suggestions: Condiment to put on the buns to add flavor. And maybe less carrots and more cabbage. But super delicious still and we had leftovers for DAYS!
This one was fabulous!!!!!! The meat was so tender and delicious. I added more BBQ than provided but it turned out amazing! Will definitely be watching for this one!
The sauce seemed to cook down and become quite watery in the slow cooker. Not much BBQ flavor at all when it came time to eat.
Very delicious! I just wish they were faster to cook, but slow-cooker.
Great, simple meal. Loved BBQ chicken with cole slaw combo. Used large buns from my servings, slider rolls for Hubby with cancer who has a smaller appetite.
