Got things to do? People to see? This time-saving spaghetti dinner is a crowd-pleasing family fave! All you have to do is whip up a super-quick marinara-based meat sauce and toss in tender noodles. If you’ve got some on hand, sprinkle on some Parmesan (not included) for some extra-tasty flare! *Nutrition values are representative of a 1/2 bundle serving.*
10 ounce
Ground Beef
6 ounce
Spaghetti
(Contains: Wheat)
14 ounce
Marinara Cup
1 tablespoon
Italian Seasoning
Salt
Pepper
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add spaghetti to pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente, 9-11 minutes. Reserve ¼ cup pasta cooking water, then drain.
While spaghetti cooks, heat a drizzle of oil in a large, preferably nonstick, pan over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, Italian Seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper; cook breaking up meat into pieces, until browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes. Stir in marinara and cook until sauce is slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes more. Remove pan from heat.
Add drained spaghetti and stir to combine, adding splashes of reserved pasta water as needed until pasta is thoroughly coated in sauce. Divide between bowls and serve.
Ground Beef is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 160°.
RECIPE SUGGESTION Want to add some veggies into the mix? Dice up some carrots, onions, or bell peppers and add to the pan along with ground beef.
I knew it needed more flavor, so I added some minced onion to the meat while it was cooking. Without the onion, it would have lacked the depth of flavor I want in a good spaghetti with meat sauce.
Easy enough for me to make :). My husband usually makes your recipes for us and he is a much better, and much more patient, cook than I am.
For kid approved, I'm surprised how chunky the marinara was. I ended up straining it. But still super good.
Simple but, very good! Yes, It was toddler approved 😊
For some reason I thought this was a premade meal, but appreciated that there was minimal cooking involved but still had really good flavors!
Delicious with a touch of grated Parmesan. Having the option to choose Angel hair pasta would be nice but the dish was delicious and flavorful.
The wrong directions were sent, I managed and it was good!
