Cooking Steps

Cook Sausage
1
  • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan (large high-sided pan or pot for 4 servings) over medium-high heat.

  • Add sausage* and cook, breaking up meat into pieces, until browned and cooked through, 4-6 minutes.

Cook Gnocchi
2
  • To pan with sausage, add gnocchi, marinara, and ¾ cup water (1¼ cups for 4 servings); stir until thoroughly combined.

  • Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until gnocchi are tender and sauce has thickened, 4-6 minutes. TIP: Be sure to occasionally scrape the bottom of the pan to ensure gnocchi don’t stick.

Toss Salad
3
  • While gnocchi cook, empty contents of salad kit into a large bowl. Drizzle with as much dressing as you like; toss to combine. TIP: Want to save a bowl? Shake the salad, toppings, and dressing right in the bag!

Finish & Serve
4
  • Once gnocchi are done, turn off heat; stir cream cheese into pan. TIP: If mixture seems dry, add splashes of water until desired consistency is reached.

  • Divide gnocchi between shallow bowls; top with as much cheesy Italian crunch as you like and serve with salad on the side.
