Pat salmon dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Heat a large drizzle of oil in a large, preferably nonstick, pan over medium-high heat. Add salmon to pan skin sides down. Cook until skin is crispy, 5-7 minutes. Flip and cook until fish is opaque and cooked through, 1-2 minutes more.
Happy to say that I think this salmon - so simply prepared - maybe the best-tasting salmon I can ever remember tasting. Perhaps it was, in part, its freshness, and maybe because the simple prep without a lot of extra ingredients let the fresh salmon flavor shine through.
The salmon is always good, firm, fresh and not too fatty. I was really nervous that it might be farm raised until I researched how Hello Fresh sources their seafood.
The cuts of salmon were quality pieces of salmon and they tasted fresh. I grilled them on the stop top and paired them with a bagged Mediterranean salad. Delicious and quick meal!
The salmon fillet portion was more than adequate, better than any portion I could buy in a grocery store.
Fresh, sweet and delicious. Since there was no recipe included, I just sautéed in olive oil and a little butter, and seasoned the fillets with a little seasoning.
This was the first time I fixed salmon. The fillets were very nice and so easy to fix.
These Salmon fillets were thick, with no grey toxic stuff under the skin (which you should not cook or eat.) Sometimes, there is as much grey toxic matter than there is good meat, yet you cannot tell, whilst buying it in the meat Dept. all packaged up. You get home, & realize you paid for bad fish! Not with Hello Fresh! There was NO Grey stuff, & the skin came off easily. It cooked up beautifully, & was a treat for everyone! I just added a Hello Fresh Salad kit & their garlic bread loaf, to round out the meal.
Very good recipe that was easy to follow. The salmons were fresh and had great taste.
I actually got this because my daughter likes salmon. I don't normally care for it, but this salmon was really good and I actually ate a whole piece.
One of the 2 packs of salmon received this week was not as good as the other as far as quality goes. One pack the fillets were just like the picture, but the other pack of fillets were a but small and flat and kind of torn somewhat. They were still edible, but not the quality of all the other salmon I have received from Hello Fresh in the past.
