4 piece
Parker House Rolls
(Contains: Eggs, Milk, Soy, Wheat)
10 ounce
Ground Beef
4 ounce
Fresh Mozzarella
(Contains: Milk)
2.5 ounce
Marinara Cup
1 tablespoon
Italian Seasoning
Salt
Pepper
2 teaspoon
Cooking Oil
Slice mozzarella into four even slices.
In a medium bowl, combine beef, half the Italian Seasoning, ½ tsp salt, and pepper. Form into four ½-inch-thick rounds. Place a mozzarella slice in the center of each beef round (trim mozzarella to fit if necessary). Gently fold meat around cheese, shaping and sealing to create stuffed patties, each slightly wider than a Parker House roll.
Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook to desired doneness, 3-5 minutes per side (it’s normal for some cheese to ooze out!).
Separate and halve rolls. Evenly spread marinara on the cut sides of each roll. Fill rolls with patties. Serve with any remaining marinara on the side.
RECIPE SUGGESTION (Additional ingredients not included.) Add some chili flakes along with the Italian Seasoning for added heat!
Ground Beef is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 160°.
Tasted great but there wasn't enough meat to cover the cheese so I had to cut back on the cheese inside and just use some on top when they were done. The rolls were a little stale as well but we ate them.
This was so easy to make, and my daughter loved it!
Great Flavoe I added parmesean cheese to the seasoning as well and made smash burgers they were yummy.
I used my own pizza sauce rather than your sauce but yours was utilized later, in another dish
It was hard to make without a recipe card. Why wouldn't there be one provided? I couldn't get all the flavors of Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to spread evenly throughout the ground beef, which was bought at a grocery store because it was missing from our box. We made this near the end of our week so the rolls were a bit stale.
You can't use the full amount of cheese and beef and wind up with a 2" patty. The rolls should be bigger, or there should be more of them.
Buns were far to large. Could've been half height and served better. Easier to bite and not desaturating the flavor of the burger.
Maybe would have been easier to eat if the patties were thinner. I'm not used to sliders.
It needed longer to cook than the card said due to the mozzarella being in the middle
